<p>Thiophosphorous acid and salts thereof of the general formula: and derivatives thereof of the general formula: wherein R represents hydrogen, an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, haloalkyl, nitroalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkynyl, or alkenyloxyalkyl radical, the cyclohexyl radical, a phenyl or phenylalkyl radical or the tetrahydrofurfuryl radical, M represents an agriculturally or horticulturally acceptable cation and n is an integer equal to the valency of M, some of which are novel compounds, are useful as fungicides.</p> |
