<p>The safety device limits the water temp. in central-heating boilers having a temp. emitter (2) generating a pressure signal increasing with the water temp. the pressure not exceeding atmospheric within the permissible fluctuation range. A valve (5) in a fuel supply pipe leading to the boile has a plug (13) working against a seat (12) in a housing through which the fuel flows and spring-loaded shut, while a locking device (15), which can be reset, holds it open. A bellows (16) releases the locking device when the pressure signal has reached the set level, and there is an external resetting buttom (18) in the housing (6) to re-engage the device.</p> |
