PURPOSE:To make possible the mounting and dismounting of an adapter according to whether automatic focusing is required or not by mounting automatic focusing mechanism as an adapter to the detector disposed in a casing and the mounting part formed in the body. CONSTITUTION:An adapter 19 of automatic focusing mechanism has a box-form case 20 and an opening 21 is formed on the top surface of said case 20. A barrel 22 such as the one which is slidable along this opening 21 is disposed and this barrel 22 is protruding from the opening 21 by being energized upward by a coil spring 23. This barrel 22 is held fitted with an optical system 24 so that the luminous flux having passed through the reflecting mirror 12 is imaged on the detector 26 on the bottom wall 25 of said barrel 22. Since the adapter is made removable, the burden of the person who does not require automatic focusing is reduced and the batteries of a larger capacity may be used.
