<p>PURPOSE:To enable economic mass production of an embossed homogeneous sandwich board, by providing an upper and a lower rolls to emboss a lower member, feeding a core material and an upper member and applying heat and pressure to them in a die. CONSTITUTION:A lower member A is delivered out of a lower member feed section 1 comprising an uncoiler, pinch rolls, etc. and is then embossed by an upper and a lower roll 3. After a core material is supplied from core material feed means 6, an upper member B such as asbestos paper, aluminum leaf or plastic sheet is supplied from an upper member feed means 7 onto the core material through a guide 8. The members A, B are conveyed and pressed in a hermetic die by means 12 comprising driving wheels 13, 14, driven wheels 15, 16, endless belts 17, 18, etc. while the core material is nipped between the members and they are heated. A sandwich board S is thus manufactured.</p> |
