PURPOSE:To obtain a cooler for a detecting element having small size and preferable efficiency by coupling a photoelectric conversion detecting element and a cooler through a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:A detecting element 2 for converting light converged by a converting element 1 into an electric signal is coupled with a cooler 4 through a heat pipe 3. Further, the pipe 3 is thermally coupled with the element 2 and with the cooler 4 through thermal binders 21, 41, respectively such as metal blocks or the like. Thus, it has good thermal efficiency and small cooling space of the detecting portion to thus rapidly cool the element 2. |
