<p>A rear view mirror is secured to the wing of a motor vehicle by an easily releasable fixture which comprises fixing elements (11, 12, 21-24, 26-30) wich are only accessible from within the engine compartment. A vertically slidable pin (11) provided with a head (12) which is clamped into contact with a component (16) of the mirror housing (1) pref. forms part of the securing arrangement. The pin may be slidable in a bore in the housing arranged on the inside of the wing. The end of the pin may be connected to a slide element (21) which has two faces engaged by a cam, by which the pin is slidably moved.</p> |
