The automatic regulating and controlling device is for a tool for cleaning the welding seam zone of plastic bags where the application pressure necessary to clean the welding seam zone by means of a rotating grinding disc is exerted by two application flaps fitted parallel to the transport direction, which can swivel about a common turning point. Because of long tension springs in their functional region, these flaps have an approximately constant spring force. The wear of the grinding disc over a long time is automatically compensated and simultaneously a signal is produced via a proximity switch when a given degree of wear of the grinding disc makes necessary a post regulation. Specifically, the wear compensation is regulated by a setting motor with a spindle. |
