Articulated roller frame for lateral ladder displacement - has pressure plates for work and roller manoeuvred into place by foot for movement along wall

The articulated roller frame allows the safe lateral displacement of a ladder without the operator carrying it. It is articulated about any but the bottom rung of the ladder. To move the ladder, it is lifted by hand and the lateral member with rollers (12) is pushed under the ladder by foot and the frame is locked to the ladder by hook and bolt. To work on the ladder the operator unhooks the frame, pulls out the rollers and rests the ladder on the pressure pads (10), the ladder top always being in contact with the wall.
