PURPOSE:To prevent the change of sensitivity with age, and the increase of a fog in a raw photosensitive material by incorporating a specified hardening agent in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The hardening agent composed of a S-triazine derivative shown by formula I and an aldehyde (a free compd.) is incorporated in the title photosensitive material. In the formula, R1 is halogen atom., R2 is halogen atom. or -OM group, etc., R3 is -OM or alkyl group, etc., M is hydrogen atom. or an alkaline metal, etc. The hardening agent is composed of a compd. shown by formula II, etc. The photosensitive material is imagewisely exposed, followed by developing the material. The dissolution or its physical phenomenon of a metal salt particle contd. in the photosensitive material is promoted by allowing a compd. (a SRR compd.) to react with the oxidant of a developing main agent, whereby a metal image is negative-likely deposited on the physical development nucleus contd. in the photosensitive material, and the SRR compd. can release a compd. acting as a dissolving agent or a dissolving physical development accelerator in the photosensitive material. |
