PURPOSE:To prevent bead portions of a diaphragm from being damaged by providing members to control only inward deformations of seal portions of the diaphragm constituting an air spring. CONSTITUTION:An air spring for rolling stocks and the like is displaced within about + or -40mm in a vertical direction and about + or -120mm in a horizontal direction. A diaphragm 71, constituting the air spring, has seal portions 71a, 71b, thickened by buried bead rings 75, 76, at both ends thereof, and a reinforcing chord 74 is buried at substantially central portion of the thickness thereof. The seal portions 71a, 71b are fixed to an inner tube 72 and an upper board 73 respectively by fixing metals 77, 78 including fixing bolts 77a, 78a. In this case, separations of the reinforcing chord 74 from bead rings 75, 76 are prevented by providing the fixing metals 77, 78 integrally with curved control members 77c, 78c, restricting inward deformations of the diaphragm 71. |
