<p>The guideway for the rammers is connected by hinging via a sliding retainer at the top end, and via a bolt at the bottom end, with a carrier on the portable machine for driving piles into foundations. The bolt and carrier are supportively hinged on the foundations via base plates, and guying cables are provided for additional retention of the rammers. The bolt may be made up from cylindrical, triangular or square-sectioned elements which are telescopically extensible. No additional vehicles or equipment are needed for transport, erection or operation, and repositioning on site is easy.</p> |
