PURPOSE:To shorten the time of cleaning and drying in all courses by the system in which the first and third courses from paint tank to paint path switching valve are cleaned and dried separately from the second course from the paint path switching valve to electrostatic coater. CONSTITUTION:The coating device consists of the paint path switching valve 5, the electrostatic coater 6, the first course 7 leading through the pump 3 from the paint tank 1 to the inlet 5A of the valve 5, the second course 8 leading from the sirst outlet 5B of the valve 5 to the coater 6, and the third course 9 from the second outet 5C of the valve 5 to the tank 1. The course 7 and the course 9 are connected with each other through the vlave 5 and then the washing liquid supply path 13 and the fourth course 10 are connected with each other through the path switching valve 12. Then, the washing liquid is sent through the course 10 from the supply path 13 into the course 8 for cleaning, and then the drying of the couse 8 is made by connecting the air suply path 14 to the course 10 by the valve 12. Thus, the time required to clean and dry all the courses can be shortened. |
