The centrifugal brake controller has a friction wheel on a fixed spindle and a support rotating about the wheel. The support comprises two arms between which the weights (4) rotate on pins on one arm. The ends of the pins (5) on the one arm (9) have projections (7) that engage holes in the other arm (6). The advantage lies in simplicity. No discs or lock discs are needed. Assembly is simpler and the brake controller is therefor cheaper.
