<p>The connection is used between a liquid reservoir (10) and a master cylinder. It has a threaded (20) sleeve (16) screwed into a boss on the master cylinder. The sleeve has a shoulder which presses against the inner face of the reservoir base (12), using a sealing ring. The threaded sleeve has a smooth tubular part (18) going across the reservoir base. This is crimped by pressure against the edge (24) of a hole in a washer (22) pressed against the base. The washer can rotate to allow the sleeve to be screwed by a tool engaging in it from inside the reservoir.</p> |
