PURPOSE:An air conditioner which is a ceiling-concealed type, makes ducts needless, and enables improvement of serviceability. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner is constructed as a single unit in a cabinet 1 which is suspended from a beam behined a ceiling 10 and is faced to the opening of the ceiling 10. The air sucked in from a central suction grille 8 formed in the bottom plate 16 of the air conditioner is removed of dust by an air filter 9. The filtered air, togerther with the fresh air which has passed through a fresh air intake port 12 and has been removed of dust by a fresh-air filter 13, is sucked by a blower 2 rotated by a motor 11, blown off from the blower 2, cooled or dehumidified or heated while passing through two heat exchangers 3, passes through air passages A and A', and is blown off from the side blow-off grilles 6 formed in the bottom plate 16. |
