PURPOSE:To eliminate the color formed in the low-temperature layer on high- temperature coloring time and thereby to provide a fresh color tone by incorporating the ethylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A and a fatty acid amide in the upper layer or between the two layers of a multicolor heat-sensitive recording material. CONSTITUTION:A multicolor heat-sensitive recording material comprises two heat- sensitive coloring layers different from each other in coloring temperature and in color tone, at least the low-temperature heat-sensitive coloring layer (the upper layer) consisting of a colorless or light-colored leuco dye and a phenolic substance or acid substance. In the upper layer or between the two layers are incorporated the ethylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A of the formula (where n = 2 or 3) and a fatty acid amide. |
