<p>Method of adjusting a blowing box for quenching glass sheets, and provided with blowing tubes passing through supports arranged on the front face of the box, is described, in which the front face is set into vibration during the adjustement operation in order to make the tubes move in their support bearings. The vibration box is placed in a horizontal position so that the tubes descent under gravity during the vibration until they comes to rest on a pattern of the desired shape. Alternatively the box is vertical, the tubes are horizontal and sufficient air is blown to move them to the new shape.</p> |
