<p>PURPOSE:To achieve stability of running characteristic of tape at the forward and backward running by selectively detecting the revolving speeds of a capstan which is making pressure contact to a pinch roller and controlling a motor. CONSTITUTION:A forward-backward runnable motor 1 revolve ths flywheels 6, 7 which are provided respectively integrally with forward and backward running capstans 4, 5 by way of a belt 8. During forward running of a tape T, the forward running pinch roller 9 is making pressure contact to a capstan 4 by way of the tape T and the backward running pinch roller 10 is held spaced from the backward running capstan 5. In the backward running of the tape T, this state is reversed. Further, rotating speed detecting means 12, 13 are provided near the flywheels 6, 7 and the outputs thereof are applied to the driving control circuit 15 of the motor 1 through a changeover switch 14 which changes over the operation in cooperation to the forward and backward running changeover operations, whereby the rotating speeds of the motor 1 are controlled and the rotating speeds of the capstans are kept constant. In this way, the tape may be stably run both at the forward and backward running.</p> |
