PURPOSE:To ensure the high-accuracy analysis for the types of materials based on the level of the X-ray measurement value after transmission through materials by securing the X-ray absorption data concerning the specified energy spectrum. CONSTITUTION:In case the X-ray absorption data are collected for the fault surface of tested subject 2, the types of filter 6 are varied in sequence to the transmission routes of the beam to collect the data with every type. The control for this is performed based on the command given from central processing unit 4, and unit 4 performs classification according to the types (type-based X-ray absorption data of specified X-rays) of filter 6, collects the data given from detector 3, performs operation according to the types, and analyzes the degree of absorption to each position of the fault surfaces. The recomposed images of the fault surfaces are displayed at output device 5 according to each characteristic X-rays analyzed for mutual comparison and collation or for the comparison and collation at unit 4 when necessary. Thus, an integrated decision is give to ensure a high-accuracy analysis for the composition.
