<p>The load carrying body of a vehicle is emptied of its load by a thrust plate. The thrust plate is driven horizontally by a scissors mechanism which is worked by a double acting ram. On one side the scissors mechanism is locked on one side by a ram fitted to the body. The equipment is particularly for lorries with a tipping body or hopper, working on sloping ground.</p> |
