FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction and repair of pipelines. In method for application of mastic insulation onto external surface of manifold pipeline that consists in heating of mastic up to temperature that provides for its adhesion with pipe surface and application of its layer onto pipe surface, at least two layers of mastic are applied, the first one - with thickness close to minimum, which provides for solid coating of pipe surface, applied layer of mastic is cooled, then further layers are applied, in particular one, at that even thickness of applied mastic is maintained along pipe circumference by limitation of its overflow, for this purpose temperature of mastic applied in further layers is reduced, compared to temperature of mastic applied by the first layer, but not lower than temperature that provides for its adhesion with the first layer of mastic. ^ EFFECT: limitation of mastic overflow. ^ 12 cl, 1 dwg |
