<p>The pump is for pumping up liqs. using indirect suction, irrespective of the vertical distance. A single-tooth gear pump is combined with a control valve submerged in the liq. to be pumped up and connected to the suction tube leading upwards to atmosphere. Two rotors each conist of a disc carrying one tooth extending over 180 deg. with contoured flanks. The rotors are carried on shafts coupled and driven by external gear wheels and contained in a housing with pressure equalising pockets and an inlet and outlets.</p> |
