<p>The process uses a pattern paper, to which the pattern is applied by screen printing. After pressing, a structure is applied using structured chromium sheets. The pattern paper is covered by a clear shiny cover paper, and is then deposited on one or mroe stacked carrier papers. Individual layers of the laminate are saturated in a synthetic resin bath. The complete laminate is pressed at increased temperature and under pressure, until the synthetic resin has set. The hardened laminate is then cut and glued to the ski surface. Pref. the carrier papers are made from soda kraft pulp impregnated with phenol cresol condensate.</p> |
