Protective cover for socket mounted fishing reel - has sides attached to end and closed by sliding fastener around socket and winding lever

The cover is used to protect a fishing reel which is socket mounted onto a rod. It is made from a suitable waterproof flexible material and comprises two side halves (5) attached to an end piece (5a). This end piece encloses the drum of the reel and the side pieces have a longitudinal parting line. This parting is closed by means of a sliding fastener (15) which reaches as far as the opening (10) left around the socket mounting (4). On the appropriate side, an opening (18) is left fot the lever (2) used for winding purposes.
