PURPOSE:To enable the quality of copying images to be well maintained by disposing an original lighting lamp in a duct form optical system, flowing air on the outside of the apparatus within this duct and preventing temperature rise in the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Closing the opening 7d of a reflecting shade 7 with an infrared ray reflecting film 20 enables infrared rays to be removed from the lighting lamp of a halogen lamp 6 incident to the original and enables these to be confined in a tubular body constituted by a filter 20 and shade 7. However, this constitution involves heating the apparatus around the reflecting shade 7 such as structural body consisting of an array 4 and its supporting frame, photoreceptor 1', devloping device 8, base 5, etc. to high tememperature and therefore in order to prevent this, air flow ports 7e, 7f are provided on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body constituted by the filter 20 and shade 7, thereby communicating these to the outside of the copying appartus and letting air flow. In this way, the temperature rise in the apparatus is prevented and the picture quality of the copying image may be well maintained. |
