PURPOSE:To make the discrimination of the signification of digital numbers easy by changing day display according to the states of the watch function and other functions. CONSTITUTION:The characters indicating 7 days of the week printed on the top polarizing plate 2 or bottom polarizing plate 3 of a liquid crystal cell 1 are so arranged that at the calendar displaying the day characters for 6 days of the days of the week are made invisible by lighting the patterns formed on the liquid crystal cell and that at the displaying of other functions the patterns of the days of the week formed on the liquid crystal cell 1 are changed to the lighting state at the calendar displaying. |
