<p>The pipe coupling for mine ventilation has an end discharge from coupled individual pipes on the pneumatic packing lead. This includes a pipe coupling piece and connections for transmission connecting two pipes, at each end, with piston-and-cylinder unit drive. The external shell (9) of the hinged pipe coupling has a bracket (26) attached to it for hinged support of the cylinder (37) and fitted with the guideway (32) for the piston-rod (36). The ball (24) inside bears an end joint of the elbow-lever type transmission, the other end joint (53) being sited behind the external shell. The oscillating connecting hinge (44) for the two transmission members of the lever is hinged to the piston-rod with a crank (40). This permits limited bending without loss of couplings' sealing.</p> |
