PURPOSE:To provide an anti-dental plaque agent effective to suppress the dental plaque which causes the oral diseases, containing a water-soluble glucomannan as a main component. CONSTITUTION:An anti-dental plaque agent containing >= 0.1 wt% of a water- soluble glucomannan which can be prepared from a tuberous root of devil's-tongue or a mucous substance obtained therefrom. The agent is used as a tablet for gargling, chewing gum, toothpaste, oral cream, etc. |
