<p>The strips are made of piezoelectric material and are firmly joined together and form a driving and a driven part. Devices for application and collection of electric signals are provided on the parts. When a voltage signal is applied to the driving part, both parts are bent, so that a voltage pulse is collected from the driven part, following the form of a decaying exponential function. The flexible elements (1, 2) have four electrodes (3, 4, 5, 6). The terminal wires (e.g. 7) are connected at one of the ends.</p> |
