The invention relates to a compound of (S)-4-amino-N-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-hydroxypropyl)-1-(7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)piperidine-4-carboxamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which may be useful in the treatment or prevention of a disease or medical condition mediated through protein kinase B (PKB) such as cancer. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising said compound, using said compound in the treatment of diseases mediated by PKB and methods for preparing said compound.
