<p>The self propelled sugar beet harvester consists of a tractor, with a reverse direction driving cab. A topper is connected ahead of the steering wheels, a digger being positioned behind these wheels. A loader is placed behind the digger, and has a large dia. rotating disc inclined to the horizontal to lift the roots on to an elevator. There are guide grilles which are adjustable to direct the beet towards the loader on the ground.</p> |
