<p>PURPOSE:Recovered ferrite including heavy metals are blended with a synthetic resin or rubber to produce inexpensive acoustic insulating materials with good sound insulation, vibration damping properties, formability, excellent handlability when used and high durability. CONSTITUTION:To (A) 100 parts by wt of a synthetic resin or rubber are 100 - 1400 parts of recovered ferrite with primary particle sizes of less than 10 microns and a real density of 4.5 - 5.5 occluding heavy metals formed when waste water containing heavy matals is treated with ferrous ion and an alkaline substance and the composition is melt kneaded, pelletized and then made into sheets or plates.</p> |
