The invention relates to a device for securing poles in foundations. As shown in Fig. 1c, one embodiment relates to stays 2 which are fixed partly in the shell 3 of the pole and partly in its flange 1. Fig. 1a shows the extra deflection 4 with which the stays are provided, one or more of which stays are straightened out, under the absorption of energy absorption, when the shell of the pole is demolished upon being knocked down by a vehicle. The invention is especially advantageous in respect of pliable road poles made of thin plate, which are commonly cut in two when knocked down by a vehicle but in which the stays, as they straighten out, secure both the pole and the vehicle. <IMAGE> |
