PURPOSE:To prevent information from disappearing in case of superimposition recording of two kinds of picture signals or more by selecting a signal superimposition circuit by a gate circuit and by supplying picture signals to it. CONSTITUTION:In case of synthesizing two picture signals IS1 and IS2, table 50 shows examples of signal superimposition circuits required not to extinguish any information corresponding to a RS type (expressing the black of a picture at a low level) and IS type (expressing the white part of a picture at a low level), and document information and picture information. Further, table 50 shows the constitution for a RS type composite picture signal, but when an IS type composite picture signal is desired, the PS type is the reverse of the IS type, so that inverters will be connected to those output terminals. Then, circuits 1 to 4 are all applied with input picture signals in case of the RS type, which is the fundamental type. |
