<p>PURPOSE:To improve photostability, esp. stability to a color image light forming a color photographic image esp. without deteriorating the hue and the purity of a dye, by adding a specified complex. CONSTITUTION:A complex of the formula in which M is Ni, Pd, or Pt, and R<1> and R<2> are H, alkyl, aryl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl, or arylsulfonyl is added to an organic base substance having the absorption maximum in the region of about 300-800 nm. This stabilizer of the organic substance has high solubility in organic solvents and high compatibility with the substance, and is dissolved in a solvent not exerting ill effects on photographic characteristics among low boiling organic solvents or water-soluble organic solvents, and added as a solution to a hydrophilic colloid composing photographic layers.</p> |
