<p>The house coupling with valve comprises two housing sections secured together to form a seal, the tank half having a tubular tank union and the hose half a length of pipe located by a union. When coupled up, the tank union is co-axial to the pipe, the passages in the two being in line and of the same diameter, while a plunger slides inside them. The tank half (1) has a locking device, working in conjuction with a plug (9) sliding in the passage (5, 4) and forming a peripheral seal, and which it holds shut. The plug can be pressed by means of a pull link (19) against the piston (6), so that mating concentric faces on the two form a seal.</p> |
