C. engine of the trochoidal n and n+1 lobe type is made of either aluminium or aluminium alloy and has a bearing portion 2 that is integral therewith and is furnished with an annular slot 4 and a pair of annular recesses 5 to minimize the flow of heat to the bearing surface, which engages with an eccentric on a poweroutput shaft (not shown). The bearing surface may have a tri-arcuate profile, as shown in Fig. 1. |
