<p>The contact receiver has a contact body (1) which includes a principal contact (2a, 2b) and a secondary contact (3a, 3b). The principal and secondary contacts are at different heights. The two contacts (2a, b, 3a, b) are separated by a slot (4a, 4b) and form two opposite partial contact surfaces. The body (1) of the contact receiver has also a slot (5) in it which is designed to receive a contact spring. The length of the secondary contact (3a) exceeds the length of the principal contact (2a) by a determined amount. This is designed so that on closure or opening of the switch the last contact of the knife switch with the body (1) is made on the secondary contact (3a).</p> |
