PHLEBOTOMY NEEDLE SYSTEM INCORPORATING MEANS TO ADD ANTICOAGULANT AND WASH LIQUID

A phlebotomy needle system providing means to introduce anticoagulant into blood immediately after it is discharged from the needle cannula into a blood transfer tube and to coat the walls of the tube with a thin film of anticoagulant up until at least that point where the anticoagulant is thoroughly mixed through the blood. Means are also provided within the the same system for backflowing a wash solution into the needle.
