The electronic photo-printing equipment records letter symbols line by line from stored video data, having a control unit in which setting instructions are stored, converting the video data extracted by the instructions into a first video signal. It also generates the necessary deflection signals for a first election radiation tube, and movement signals for a record support sliding in relation to this tube. A second such tube identically reproduces a light signal to be expected, and a memory unit contains the illustration lines of the first video signal, converting the latter into a second one for the second tube. A first generator produces the writing signal for the illustration line memory unit from a combination of deflection and movement signals. A second generator produces read signals for the memory unit and deflection signals for the second tube.
