摘要 PURPOSE:A laser irradiation for forming a surface treated layer is used to provide a vibro-isolating alloy having improved wear- and corrosin-resistant surface and unchanged vibration-damping characteristic. CONSTITUTION:Surface of vibro-isolating alloy is irradiated by a laser, and formed into a hardened surface layer. Or, the hardened surface layer may be formed by melting and evaporating the surface layer and causing the reaction force of evaporation to impactly harden the surface. Further, phenomenon of amorphism is solidifying process is utilized to form an amorphous layer. The process provides products having a great abrasion-resistant surface, maintaining original vobro-damping property because internal structure is not affected. Further, if it is laser-treated with powder of other metal such as Cr placed on the surface of the vibro-isolating alloy, metal powder melts together with the alloy, and diffuses into molten alloy and mergs to form an alloy layer having an excellent corrosion resistivity. Characteristics of such hardened layer can be optionally selected according to the kind of material and application of vobro-isolating alloys.
