<p>PURPOSE:To easily, exactly, automatically control the circumferential speed of upper and lower rolls, by connecting the settled circumferential speed ratio signal feed line including the multiplier, to the settled circumferential speed sigal feed line connected to the roll speed control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the circumferential speed signal V1r is settled taking the circumferential speed of the lower work roll 5 as the reference, this circumferential speed signal V1r becomes the speed of the rolling mill. Next, the circumferential speed ratio signal alpha is settled, and the circumferential speed V0r of the upper work roll 1 is settled. For obtaining the settled circumferential speed signal V0r of the upper work roll 1, the circumferential speed signal V1r of the lower work roll 5 is multiplied by the circumferential speed ratio alpha by the multiplier 11. This settled circumferential speed signal V1r is sent to the motor 6 through the comparator 7 of the speed control circuit for the lower work roll; and the lower work roll 5 is driven by the action of motor 6, and at the same time, the circumferential speed detecting signal is sent from the speed meter 8 to the comparator 7 as feedback; hereby, the speed control for the lower work roll 5 is carried out.</p> |
