CONSTITUTION:After breaking a fluorescent lamp, which life expires, H2S is introduced during the time when the broken lamp is mixed and agitated with spongy rubber pieces, and mercury oxide mixed in metallic Hg is changed into HgS, etc. by the following reaction. HgO+H2S HgS+H2O Hg2O+H2S HgS+Hg+H2O Water-unsoluble HgS and Hg are removed from glass pieces. |
