<p>The device for spraying vegetables with a germinating liquid, has a conveyor (2) on which the vegetables (1) are transported over which is a frame (4, 5, 6, 12) carrying a supply tube (15) for the liquid, with a filter (16) and a pressure regulator (17) which branches into two delivery tubes (19) side by side, each with delivery jets (22, 23, 24) so that the whole width of the flow of vegetables is covered, each set of jets being controlled by an electromagnetically operated control valve (20, 21). At the feed end, two swinging arms (30) with a counterweight (29) attached, rests on the vegetables passing underneath. If the flow of vegetables is interrupted, one or both arms swings down, and a contact arm (36) with a roller resting on a bulge (32) operates a microswitch (34) to actuate one or both control valves.</p> |
