<p>Toy aircraft are claimed which fly in response to the pull of a line spun with the assistance of a rod such as a fishing rod. Pref. the aircraft is of lightweight construction, e.g. having a plastic body distended by injection of expanded polystyrene, and reinforced where necessary to provide support for the tie line and for the undercarriage. Pref. the rod is of similar length to the line used, the upper section is stiffer than that of a typical fishing rod, and the line is guided through an eye which is free to rotate at the top of the rod.</p> |
