The sectional frame is of prefabricated components connected by bolts into encastre threaded sleeves and is for use in lining wall openings for windows. The frame (1) has a rectangular elevation and is built up from four components comprising two posts (3), a lintel (4) and a sill (2). The components may be precase in white concrete or reconstructed stone and to alternative moulded forms. The lintel (4) may be of an 'L' section and the posts (3) may be of a rectangular plank form. The bolt-anchorage sleeves may be embedded axially (10) in the ends (9) of the posts (3), and may traverse (7, 14) the sill and the lintel in the corresponding end zones (6, 15). The posts (3) may also be of an 'L' section and the lintel (4) may have an arched soffit.
