A separating ring (9) is arranged between the grinding space (5) and the cover (10) with the collecting space (23). In the separating ring (9) annular gaps are provided which have double-conical depressions (22) on their inlet sides. The ground product flows through the annular gaps during which the grinding bodies (6) are retained in the depressions (22). The depressions (22) act as tracks for the grinding bodies (6). When flowing through the annular gap, the ground product experiences only relatively small resistance at the separating ring (9). <IMAGE>
