The picker contains a striker part (3) which is inserted exchangeably into the picker body (2) by means of a snap connection. In order to achieve a striker part with the largest possible area of wideness for the shuttle tip, along with the lowest possible weight, this part is produced from a harder plastic than the picker body which consists of an elastic plastic and which can itself be attached firmly to the picking stick (1). The striker part (3) has an approximately round base surface, the lower portion of which is provided with bulges (4) protruding beyond the circular shape. <IMAGE>
