A latch-catch lock consists of a cylindrical lock case (1) and of a lock latch (2) which is guided laterally out of the latter and which can be displaced into an immobilising position by double advance and can be blocked in this by means of an immobilising catch (10). The lock can be used as a reversible lock for left-opening and right-opening doors or the like. It can be actuated both by means of a rotary grip and by means of a door handle and a key. <IMAGE>
