Instead of tyre 1 being hollow it may be solid. In another embodiment the enlarged adjacent ends of the rods 21 are in the form of truncated cones. According to a further embodiment the members 21 may be hair-pin shaped each having two prongs with the lead wire passing through the circular end portions of the two-pronged members. Alternatively, each member 21 has one hooked end. In either case the end portion is deformed to grip the lead wire. The tyred collector wheel may be used as an auxiliary roller or driving wheel for a motor vehicle and employed for discharging static electricity accumulated in the vehicle. |
